Cultural Events in Douro Region | Eventos Culturais na região do Douro

The Douro region promotes, throughout the year, various events renowned internationally as some of Douro International Jazz Festival, the Festival and Competition of Classical Guitar in Sernancelhe, Douro Film Harvest and The  International Print Biennial of Douro.
To combat the seasonality, the Douro also promotes a series of medieval fairs, crafts, cuisine, wines and regional products.
In almost every county seats, there are municipal auditoriums and cultural centers that receive sessions and movie theater and concerts.

A região duriense promove, ao longo de todo o ano, vários eventos de renome, alguns de âmbito internacional como o Festival Douro Internacional Jazz, o Festival e Concurso de Guitarra Clássica de Sernancelhe, o Douro Film Harvest e a Bienal Internacional de Gravura do Douro.

The festivities are a constant in the Douro region and occur throughout the year. Since the festivities of the Harvest, of Cherry Blossom, Apple’s, Chestnut and Almond, among others.
